Walk-ins and phone bookings
Book a walk-in or a caller in a few taps. Returning customers are recognized by phone number.
LiveFront-desk booking software
Front-desk booking software for appointment-based businesses: walk-ins and phone bookings in, one conflict-free live schedule out.
What it does
Book a walk-in or a caller in a few taps. Returning customers are recognized by phone number.
Double-booking is blocked at the data layer, so two screens can never claim the same slot.
Every change reaches every front-desk screen in real time, with no refresh.
Hours, services, prices and staff are set by the owner, and the schedule follows instantly.
Payments and tips are recorded at checkout, so the day's book and the day's takings agree.
The front desk runs in English and Korean today, with more languages on the way. Switching takes one tap.
North star
Every busy front desk already has a system it trusts: the paper appointment book. Daybook keeps what works about it, the page for the day, a column for each person and the glance that shows who is free, and leaves behind what doesn't: double-bookings, smudged pencil, and history that disappears when the page turns.
It's designed for the iPad at the front desk, so booking feels as natural as writing in the book, with none of the erasing.
Learns from use
Daybook learns from the people who use it. Real appointment times and the owner's own choices tune how it proposes times, service by service, as the history builds. It leans on what it has learned only once there is enough real data behind it, so it starts careful and grows more confident with experience.
Learning arrives with the next release of the booking engine.
Where it stands
Daybook is deployed and running in pilot in New Jersey. Next on the roadmap: the iPad book, built to look and work like the paper one; the learning booking engine; integrated online self-booking; booking by text message; and visits with several services that move between staff.
